MT-ND1 pseudogene 29Genealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored MTND1P29 profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. MTND1P29 expression is associated with patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in BLCA. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, MTND1P29 is differentially expressed in 1, with the highest sampling consensus in KICH. Additionally, MTND1P29 RNA expression shows 5,378 significant gene co-expression associations, with the highest sampling consensus in THCA. Together, these results highlight BLCA, KICH, and THCA as cancer lineages where MTND1P29 shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes MTND1P29 survival associations across molecular data types. MTND1P29 RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (8). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible MTND1P29 RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High MTND1P29 expression shows unfavorable associations in LIHC, ESCA, LUAD, CESC and UCEC, but favorable associations in BLCA. The BLCA Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the low-expression group declining faster, consistent with the favorable association (log-rank p = .018). Together, the overview and detailed table identify BLCA as the clearest survival context for MTND1P29 RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for MTND1P29. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. MTND1P29 shows higher tumor expression in KICH. The KICH box plot shows higher MTND1P29 RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +0.025, t-test p = .028).
