Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTMR12 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,500 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTMR12-associated genes across cancer lineages are ACADL, RNU6-1079P, and RNU6-378P. Each is linked with MTMR12 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTMR12-to-partner and partner-to-MTMR12 results are reported.
