Across TCGA patient cohorts, MT1IP RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,497 significant associations in total. THCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MT1IP-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Cellular response to copper ion, Cellular response to zinc ion, and Detoxification of inorganic compound. Each is linked with MT1IP in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MT1IP-to-partner and partner-to-MT1IP results are reported.
