Across TCGA patient cohorts, MSN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,216 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MSN-associated genes across cancer lineages are RPL22P5, HNRNPMP2, and OR51A8P. Each is linked with MSN in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MSN-to-partner and partner-to-MSN results are reported.
