OR51A8P

associated omics data
olfactory receptor family 51 subfamily A member 8 pseudogeneGenealiases: []

Q-omics provides the consensus-scored OR51A8P profile across patient tissues and cancer cell-line models. OR51A8P expression is associated with patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, with the highest sampling consensus in OV. Among the 18 cancer types available for tumor–normal comparison, OR51A8P is differentially expressed in 2, with the highest sampling consensus in PRAD. Additionally, OR51A8P RNA expression shows 6,404 significant pathway-activity associations, with the highest sampling consensus in STAD. Together, these results highlight OV, PRAD, and STAD as cancer lineages where OR51A8P shows reproducible signals across survival, tumor–normal expression, and patient cross-omics analyses.

Every result is evaluated using two consensus scores. Sampling consensus measures how consistently a finding is reproduced within a cancer lineage across different conditions. Lineage consensus measures how broadly the result is shared across cancer types, distinguishing pan-cancer signals from lineage-specific patterns.

Survival associations

This table summarizes OR51A8P survival associations across molecular data types. OR51A8P RNA expression shows survival associations in the most cancer types (14). The rightmost column indicates the cancer type with the highest sampling consensus for each molecular layer.

This table ranks reproducible OR51A8P RNA expression–survival associations across cancer types. High OR51A8P expression shows unfavorable associations in MESO, ACC, BRCA, KIRC and KICH, but favorable associations in OV. The OV Kaplan–Meier curve shows clear separation, with the low-expression group declining faster, consistent with the favorable association (log-rank p = .012). Together, the overview and detailed table identify OV as the clearest survival context for OR51A8P RNA expression.

This table ranks reproducible tumor–normal expression differences for OR51A8P. A negative fold-change indicates higher expression in normal tissue than in tumor tissue. OR51A8P shows higher tumor expression in PRAD and KICH. The PRAD box plot shows higher OR51A8P RNA expression in tumor versus normal tissue (log2 FC = +0.909, t-test p < 0.001).
