Across TCGA patient cohorts, MRAS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,310 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MRAS-associated genes across cancer lineages are CDH5, MAN1C1, and PMP22. Each is linked with MRAS in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MRAS-to-partner and partner-to-MRAS results are reported.
