The most reproducible MMP8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Biological process involved in interaction with symbiont, Cell communication involved in cardiac conduction, and Phosphatidylinositol phosphate biosynthetic process. Each is linked with MMP8 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMP8-to-partner and partner-to-MMP8 results are reported.
