Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MIR4527HG RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MIR4527HG’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where MIR4527HG RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MIR4527HG is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PRAD and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where MIR4527HG tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
