Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIF4GD mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 688 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MIF4GD-associated genes across cancer lineages are EI24, MRPL49, and SAP18. Each is linked with MIF4GD in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIF4GD-to-partner and partner-to-MIF4GD results are reported.
