Across TCGA patient cohorts, MIDEAS mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 42 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MIDEAS-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASNS, MEK1, and Rad50. Each is linked with MIDEAS in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MIDEAS-to-partner and partner-to-MIDEAS results are reported.
