Across TCGA patient cohorts, METTL4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,082 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible METTL4-associated genes across cancer lineages are PHF13, CDK17, and CYTH4. Each is linked with METTL4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both METTL4-to-partner and partner-to-METTL4 results are reported.
