Across TCGA patient cohorts, MET protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,581 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MET-associated genes across cancer lineages are TNFRSF12A, CAV2, and AREG. Each is linked with MET in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MET-to-partner and partner-to-MET results are reported.
