MEF2C

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, MEF2C mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MEF2C-associated genes across cancer lineages are MMP26, OR2T6, and OR14A2. Each is linked with MEF2C in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MEF2C-to-partner and partner-to-MEF2C results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MMP26 grouped by MEF2C-low versus MEF2C-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MEF2C→partner) and Y-score (partner→MEF2C) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
