Across TCGA patient cohorts, MDH1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,996 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDH1-associated genes across cancer lineages are ABCA8, CBX7, and ASPA. Each is linked with MDH1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDH1-to-partner and partner-to-MDH1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MDH1 versus ABCA8 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.26.
