MDFI

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MDFI protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,736 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MDFI-associated genes across cancer lineages are NCF4, CRISPLD2, and MEFV. Each is linked with MDFI in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MDFI-to-partner and partner-to-MDFI results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MDFI versus NCF4 in PDAC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.73.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MDFI→partner) and Y-score (partner→MDFI) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
