MC4R

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → PROTEIN-MSPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MC4R RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 8,556 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC4R-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SPCS3, SEC11C, and CD38. Each is linked with MC4R in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC4R-to-partner and partner-to-MC4R results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MC4R versus SPCS3 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.26.

RNA expression associated proteins by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC4R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC4R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
