Across TCGA cell cohorts, MC4R RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 863 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC4R-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Axoneme assembly, COPII-coated vesicle budding, and Aerobic respiration. Each is linked with MC4R in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC4R-to-partner and partner-to-MC4R results are reported.
