MC4R

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, MC4R mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MC4R-associated genes across cancer lineages are RESP18, NCBP2L, and TAS2R41. Each is linked with MC4R in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MC4R-to-partner and partner-to-MC4R results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RESP18 grouped by MC4R-low versus MC4R-high in BREAST.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MC4R→partner) and Y-score (partner→MC4R) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
