Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MAN1A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MAN1A1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MAN1A1 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MAN1A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, STAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where MAN1A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
