Across TCGA patient cohorts, MAEA mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,820 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MAEA-associated genes across cancer lineages are CFC1B, ATF4P1, and TOMM22. Each is linked with MAEA in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MAEA-to-partner and partner-to-MAEA results are reported.
