LSS

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, LSS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,445 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LSS-associated genes across cancer lineages are HMGCS1, MVD, and INSIG1. Each is linked with LSS in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LSS-to-partner and partner-to-LSS results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, LSS versus HMGCS1 in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.36.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (LSS→partner) and Y-score (partner→LSS) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
