Across TCGA cell cohorts, LSS RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,899 significant associations in total. CNS shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LSS-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Terpenoid biosynthetic process, Farnesyl diphosphate biosynthetic process, mevalonate pathway, and Isoprenoid biosynthetic process via mevalonate. Each is linked with LSS in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LSS-to-partner and partner-to-LSS results are reported.
