Across TCGA cell cohorts, LSS mutation is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 3,826 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LSS-associated genes across cancer lineages are LENG8, PIGO, and TBK1. Each is linked with LSS in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LSS-to-partner and partner-to-LSS results are reported.
