Across TCGA patient cohorts, LIPC mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,385 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LIPC-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4802, RNA5SP452, and MAPK6P6. Each is linked with LIPC in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LIPC-to-partner and partner-to-LIPC results are reported.
