The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher LINC00858 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC00858 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and READ show a favorable association.

KICH, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where LINC00858 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
