Across TCGA cell cohorts, KRTAP8-1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 29 significant associations in total. LUNG_SCLC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KRTAP8-1-associated genes across cancer lineages are TNS3, ZNF845, and HEATR5A. Each is linked with KRTAP8-1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KRTAP8-1-to-partner and partner-to-KRTAP8-1 results are reported.
