Across TCGA cell cohorts, KRTAP21-3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the mutation status of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. STOMACH shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KRTAP21-3-associated genes across cancer lineages are SLC7A6, AGBL1, and MEFV. Each is linked with KRTAP21-3 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KRTAP21-3-to-partner and partner-to-KRTAP21-3 results are reported.
