KIF5B

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, KIF5B mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,324 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KIF5B-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR8053, KCTD9, and BCAS2. Each is linked with KIF5B in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KIF5B-to-partner and partner-to-KIF5B results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR8053 grouped by KIF5B-low versus KIF5B-high in CESC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (KIF5B→partner) and Y-score (partner→KIF5B) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
