Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KHDC3L RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KHDC3L data layer compared with 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher KHDC3L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KHDC3L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and THYM show a favorable association.

KIRC, COAD, and READ are the cancer types where KHDC3L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
