Across TCGA patient cohorts, KCNK16 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 11,213 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KCNK16-associated genes across cancer lineages are TNFRSF10C, TRAPPC9, and FCGR2A. Each is linked with KCNK16 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KCNK16-to-partner and partner-to-KCNK16 results are reported.
