Across TCGA patient cohorts, IGKV1D-8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 117 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible IGKV1D-8-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU4-58P, RNY4P6, and MIR16-1. Each is linked with IGKV1D-8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IGKV1D-8-to-partner and partner-to-IGKV1D-8 results are reported.
