Across TCGA patient cohorts, IGHVIII-2-1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,898 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible IGHVIII-2-1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are B cell mediated immunity, Immunoglobulin production, and Alpha-beta T cell activation. Each is linked with IGHVIII-2-1 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both IGHVIII-2-1-to-partner and partner-to-IGHVIII-2-1 results are reported.
