Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB3P19 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGB3P19 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher HMGB3P19 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB3P19 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and STAD show a favorable association.

CESC, BLCA, and SARC are the cancer types where HMGB3P19 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
