HMBS

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, HMBS mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,877 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMBS-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR4759, MIR409, and MGAT2P2. Each is linked with HMBS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMBS-to-partner and partner-to-HMBS results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR4759 grouped by HMBS-low versus HMBS-high in LIHC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HMBS→partner) and Y-score (partner→HMBS) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
