Across TCGA patient cohorts, HLA-DRA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,206 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HLA-DRA-associated genes across cancer lineages are CIITA, CD74, and HLA-DRB1. Each is linked with HLA-DRA in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HLA-DRA-to-partner and partner-to-HLA-DRA results are reported.
