Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HAO1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HAO1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher HAO1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HAO1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC show a favorable association.
COAD, LGG, and LUSC are the cancer types where HAO1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
