Across TCGA patient cohorts, H2BW2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,718 significant associations in total. THYM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible H2BW2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Microtubule polymerization or depolymerization, Mitochondrial translation, and Mitochondrial respiratory chain complex assembly. Each is linked with H2BW2 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both H2BW2-to-partner and partner-to-H2BW2 results are reported.
