Across TCGA cell cohorts, GSC mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GSC-associated genes across cancer lineages are C3orf85, PRSS54, and MAGEB4. Each is linked with GSC in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GSC-to-partner and partner-to-GSC results are reported.
