GLS

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, GLS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,011 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible GLS-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRR11, SORD, and HOXA1. Each is linked with GLS in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both GLS-to-partner and partner-to-GLS results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, GLS versus PRR11 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.39.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (GLS→partner) and Y-score (partner→GLS) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
