Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, GHR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated GHR data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher GHR Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated GHR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, LUSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where GHR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
