Across TCGA patient cohorts, FGF21 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,666 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FGF21-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Positive regulation of triglyceride catabolic process, Outer mitochondrial membrane organization, and Mitochondrial translation. Each is linked with FGF21 in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FGF21-to-partner and partner-to-FGF21 results are reported.
