Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, FAM90A27P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of FAM90A27P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where FAM90A27P RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types FAM90A27P is over-expressed in tumor.
THCA are the cancer types where FAM90A27P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
