The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher FAM209B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated FAM209B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
KICH, SCLC, and HNSC are the cancer types where FAM209B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
