Across TCGA patient cohorts, FABP4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 54 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible FABP4-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTA2, BTG3P1, and H2AB3. Each is linked with FABP4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both FABP4-to-partner and partner-to-FABP4 results are reported.
