Across TCGA patient cohorts, ESD mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 22 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible ESD-associated genes across cancer lineages are A-Raf_pS299, FoxM1, and INPP4B. Each is linked with ESD in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both ESD-to-partner and partner-to-ESD results are reported.
