Across TCGA patient cohorts, EPB42 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 43 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible EPB42-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caspase-8, FoxM1, and MEK1. Each is linked with EPB42 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both EPB42-to-partner and partner-to-EPB42 results are reported.
