Across TCGA patient cohorts, DSCAM-AS1 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,451 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DSCAM-AS1-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are DNA biosynthetic process, Regulation of mitochondrion organization, and Mitochondrial translation. Each is linked with DSCAM-AS1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DSCAM-AS1-to-partner and partner-to-DSCAM-AS1 results are reported.
