Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, DENND11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of DENND11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where DENND11 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types DENND11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KICH show the opposite, repressed pattern.
THCA, KICH, and COAD are the cancer types where DENND11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
