Across TCGA patient cohorts, DEFA3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,674 significant associations in total. THYM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DEFA3-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Disruption of plasma membrane integrity in another organism, Leukocyte aggregation, and Nitric oxide transport. Each is linked with DEFA3 in more than 21 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEFA3-to-partner and partner-to-DEFA3 results are reported.
