DEFA3

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, DEFA3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8,052 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible DEFA3-associated genes across cancer lineages are FCAR, AQP9, and CXCL8. Each is linked with DEFA3 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both DEFA3-to-partner and partner-to-DEFA3 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, DEFA3 versus FCAR in PDAC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.52.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (DEFA3→partner) and Y-score (partner→DEFA3) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
